Jim, I'm not crazy about the two large pinkish flowers in the foreground, simply because they seem to overpower the absolutely exquisite, delicate garden scene. But, as you can tell from my choice of words, I'm am completely enamoured with this image.

Thanks again Kat. This is my poor attempt to emulate a photo I saw recently in our local paper. It was shot with a long tele (200-300mm), with the hydrangeas in the foreground, the oak in the middle, and the "Great Lawn" with the azaleas in the background. I shot mine with a 105mm, and it is not nearly as dramatic as the original, so yes I agree with you, the pink is distracting.

It is a beautiful image, I agree. It looks like a tapestry, a very complex weaving of colored thread.
