My guess would be natural lighting, with a reflector high and camera right.

thanks Alan what do you mean by camera light?

If it is natural light, I am guessing the photo has had lots of retouching?

The photog probably used a white soft sheet to control the "natural light" the sun and reflectors to control shadows. Then ran several post processing filters over the image to get the desired effect of Bronze Chrome.

any idea what the post processing filters are?

I was thinking a soft light filter and then maybe a high pass

Bronze Chrome is a filter preset you can buy. OnOne Software has it and there are other filter preset you can purchase through other companies and pro photographers. I have OnOne Software so I know this preset, as I have played with it.
