Jim, I really like the contrast in the sky and building but I feel like the trees are a little flat. Maybe adjusting the green slightly. I do love the image.

What is the structure?

I like the color version better ironically. The Green roof sells it,

Well I don't know about the green roof, but I definitely like the color better.

Jim - wonderful shot! Did you do a straight B/W conversion or did you do some Channel Mixing as Scott explained to us a few years ago? Depending on the individual image, it's good to know the different methods, and which works best, when.

Wonder how this would look as a Selective Coloring piece. Only leave the copper roof areas and the dome the oxidized green?

I kinda tend to go with the B&W on this one.

Jim, you did a nice job on the conversion, but Nik's Silver Efex Pro could really make this one pop.

Thanks for the valued comments everyone.

I am considering Niks Silver Efex Pro and Color Efex Pro but there are some compatibility problems with 64 bit systems and PhotoShop CS4 in particular. Customer service said they were working on the problem and told me that Color Efex Pro v3 would work now with the 32 bit CS4. I tried a v3 trial of the Color Efex Pro that they had sent me as a promotion to PPA members and it absolutely locked PhotoShop up until it was removed.

The green was set as high as I could to try and get some more detail in the trees but the dome kept getting too white during the conversion.

I have temporarly lost the name of the museum but it sits on the hill next to the Hungarian White House in Budapest.

I actually like both color and B&W versions myself but I thought the detail was better in the B&W version.

I primarily used the B&W panel in CS4 which appears to be a more dynamic version of the channel mixer.

Again, thanks for all the comments.
