Hey guys / galls. I need help fixing this picture. This lady is our friend and she has gorgeous blue eyes, but this is a crop from a much larger photo. Can anyone enhance it by maybe making it softer and keep or even increase the blueness in her eyes. It might also need additional cropping. Thanks a zillion... ;-)

I had my go at it. Some selective blurring, cloning, etc and the ambience filter in Virtual Photographer at a lowered opacity with a multiplt blend mode. Those are some nice peepers!

edit: looks like because the filnames were the same the next one that got posted replaced my pic and they both used my thumbnail. I renamed and reuploaded mine

You guys are awesome! Can't wait for Nomar, Heidi and the others to rework this! :-)
Rick, I love the contrast on the last one you did.
Truth is, she was very tired that day and it shows. Normally she doesn't have those circles under her eyes. Can you believe she is 38?!

I can't believe you posted her age.
In my try I added lighting (205 217 208) in an oval pattern and increased the saturation and lowered the lightness in HSL.

This is nice too, but I was looking for something like what Rick did. Thank you for the effort guys.

Jim, She is proud of her age! :-)

John, your friend really does have some lovely eyes! Here's my version with the color corrected, softened, and noise reduced.

Wow you guys/girls did some good edits.

mrrick how did you get the silver skin look? Is it just B&W with some manipulation of the highlights?

nomar i used virtualphotographer on that one...i bielieve it was "classic" and then "glamour" on top of that with some minor tweaking, then of course took the eyes from the original and threw em in there to top it off lol ...thanx ;-)

Wow, look at all those neat re-doos! Heidi, how did you do the color change on the skin? I love it. :-) Maybe the eyes are a little bluer than those however. Now I can't chose. Grrr!

How about one more to choose from? A little healing brush under the eyes. Pumped up the blue a little. Blured some very minor skin thingees. Painted the whites of her eyes with a little white. Took a little shine off her nose.

You guys are really something. I am still banging my head in the wall over which one to chose though. Thought it was tough, now it's even tougher. :bang:

Think I like Heidi's version on the skin and Pete + Aaron's version on the eyes. Can we combine the two? :deal: lol

John I did the skin pretty much the same as I did the last photo, only I left out the color temp and added an extra gaussian blur layer. I wasn't sure just how blue the eyes were suppose to be so I just enhanced those from the original. Here's another with the blue increased.

Heidi, This is perfect! :-) Thank you again. This is what I was looking for! The family picture you sent to me is already printed out and framed in a nice cherry-wood frame which can be hang on the wall or just placed on a desk. Size is: 8x10 inch.

This image is only for my gallery. Hope you don't mind if I post it there with your name mentioned as the editor angel?! Simply super Heidi.

Trayci, you got those eyes really blue eh. Thank you for your time & effort. I don't see your comments in my threads too often, but it is very nice to see you here! Love y'all!

John, you'll have to let me know how they like it. I feel nervous about that one. ;-)

I don't mind one bit if you post it in your gallery, it's your photo irregardless if I edited it or not. :-)

Thanx Heidi. I just did. The print is really nice, even in a large size. Good thing you left the noise reduction on. They had to crop it in the lab, but only from the sides. I think they print on paper with 2x3 ratio, that's why. Only a few milimeters lost from one side and maybe halfen inch from the other side. I had no choice. Fits in the frame perfectly! :-) I'll let you know how they liked it after Christmas, I promise okay?!
