I created this in photoshop-the picture of the moon is mine. I cloned the moon onto the water-which I made with my water brushes in photoshop..
I wanted to created something a little different than what I usually do, also my brother wanted me to make it for him. Anyways, tips would be great! Aslo C&C!

What a fun idea!
Here's an idea - I haven't tried it, but here's what I would do. Rather than cloning the moon, select it and copy it into a new layer. Select the water and copy it into a new layer in front of the copied moon layer and adjust the opacity of the copied water layer.
Good luck - let us see the final version.
Cheers!

I'd suggest a cloned moon on the water to make a little bit transparent (if he is on separate layer), and also distort it a bit.
Now it looks a bit like a cloned ;)
... and i would suggest to add some star imitations on the sky to look sky more real

Also try giving your cloned moon som ripples. I like the idea though!

The most important thing about cloning..........make the pic believable. A reflection id 180 degrees opposite to the original. You can use all the above advice abot layers etc, but you need to rotate the moon 180 degrees.
