View Full Version : A rainy drive

Here's two photos I took while driving through the rain the other day. They were both accidents - I was trying to take a photo of the hills behind the cars with cars in the foreground but my point-and-shoot focused on the dust on the windshield instead - I like these two a lot better than the ones that were properly focused! I post-processed them in Adobe Photoshop and added a border. Which do you like better?

but my point-and-shoot focused on the dust on the windshield instead - blame on the camera. lol That is as good an excuse as any other, I guess.

I like the first one for an abstract. The second one just doesn't seem balanced somehow. Probably too many white spots in row and not enough differences overall to hold my interest. But don't take my word for it. I don't know a lot about abstracts. :-)

I do rather enjoy these as abstracts, even though you can tell what it is, the bokeh is nice. I would say print them big and hang em, but with a little p&s im not sure how good they will look alot bigger..

Thanks all! I like the first one better, personally. As you said it looks much more abstract. I might figure out about having it printed - in any case it might make a good 4-by-6 for a notecard. :)

I like the first one better also. Like Skippy said, it seems more balanced.

Interesting abstracts with nice colour, I too prefer #1 :)

I also vote for first one.
