Hi everyone,
I am new hear, so apologies if this question has been raised before.
I have had a Canon I950 for about 18 months. Initially it produced superb A4 prints, however , now it is producing very poor coliour rendition. Items changed and things I have done are:
1. New printhead ( problems seemed to appear after this)
2. Consistent ink supplier (not Canon)
3. Consistent paper supplier
4. Nozzlechecks and deep cleans (seems OK)
I have even purchased a profile for use with Qimage and switched to Canon pro paper, the results were better, but not as good as before.
Black & White prints all have a severe cast, either green or blue depending on paper and profiles. Incidently, a friend with an I850 is experiencing the same problems. This is bad enough to such an extent that I cannot be sure what I am going to get from this printer and am so frustrated with it that I wonder if home printing is viable.
Any help would be appreciated....
TIA
Jim
