Sp which one do you prefer. I always used Photoshop 7 but I just got the Pain Shop Pro 7 and it looks like it is so much more freindly user for just adjusting the photo. So which one do you prefer and why?

For day to day editing, resizing, colour correction, cropping, etc, Compupic Pro wins hands down... software of choice for going further is Photoshop Elements II, I use PS7 but the huge overheads involved in the size of the package stop it from being my first choice... I love PSP7 but eventuality the incompatability with some of the best plugins stopped me from using it... PSP8 looks good, and would be more of an idea to get involved in than PSP7 at this stage...

crazyb,
I have photoshop 7, photoshop elements and photoimpact but I don't have paint shop yet. I might have to pick that one up.
I would say, I use photoshop 7 more, the others are okay. I like the learning curve of photoshop 7 and the vast array of tools and pluggins.
NiL,
I haven't used Paint Shop in awhile, so can't comment on it for photos. I REALLY like Photoshop 7, but it is a beast to launch. I usually just use Photoshop 5.0 for quick edits, but 7 has slightly better automatic color adjustments for when I'm in a rush. For web images, Photoshop 7 is hands down the only tool in town.
