I just purchased this camera from Costco. For a month I have looked at it and have tried to find out how it performed. There is virtually nothing on the web about it. The camera cost $229. From what I can see aftrer using it for about a week, it is well worth the price. The basic specs are: 6.3 mega pixel; 3x optical/4x digital zoom; full manual controls, all metal body; 2" LCD; AF assist light; SD card, etc. I have taken pictures in sunlight, under artificial lighting, and in total darkness. In each instance the picture turned out completely in focus with great coloration. The AF assist light is amazingly good. I did read one previous mention on this forum about this camera, which noted that the shots were blurry. I did not find this to be the case. In fact, none of the 50 - 60 shots that I have taken have been the least bit blurry. Overall, for the price, this appears to be a great camera. It is particularly a good deal since it is sold by Costco, which will take it back anytime within one year if there are any problems.
