Lost Message

I hope this is the correct forum for this question.
I was recently perusing these forums and came across a message thread that interested me and thought I would leave a reply. I was not logged in at the time. I clicked on Reply and was rewarded with a log-in window. I obliged with my username and password and proceeded to compose my message. When done, I clicked on Submit and was rewarded with another log-in window and my message was gone. I thought I had done something wrong and didn't think too much more about it but had to leave without redoing my message. Some time later, the same thing happened. What am I doing wrong?

I have had that happen a few times while composing long messages. I now right click and copy every now and again when making a long post.

I also clicked on the keep me logged in box next to your user name and I haven't noticed that happening to me in a long time.

Mark is right, if you haven't clicked that little box when you sign in the cookie will not be set and you will time out. But sometimes we do have grimlins here too. lol

Thanks for the pointers. I'm using the same process now. As I logged in to reply there was a "remember me" box that I checked. I didn't see a "keep me logged in" box. We'll see how this works.

Glad it worked......The remember me box is the one I meant. I don't know why I thought it said keep me logged in. I guess that is what I wanted the box to do.:)
