This is an old farmhouse on my way to the country. I have many frames of it from the other side because it is my usual route.
The owner has been renovating it for the last 5 years and is doing a nice job. Nice hard maples in the front, too, the sure sign of a farmhouse around here.

Yep, it's springtime in Montana again. After last Sundays nice weather when I captured an eagle for week 9, today it's a little snowy. Oh well, it's supposed to be in the mid 60° range this weekend. Pentax K20D, DA* 16-50 f/2.8, 16mm, 1/1600 @ f/9, ISO 1600 ().

Steve, it looks cold and shivery there. Very stark image.
Mark, nice light on the tree. ~~Peg
An outbuilding from the 1930's or so. Love the tree growing inside and out through the window. ~~Peg

WoW! Week 10 already.. Really hard to believe! This week I wanted to concentrate on obtaining texture and a physical feeling in my image. I felt this image of a bolt on the groin at Hunting Island State Park worked perfectly.

Willard, that is some nice house!
Steve, I like the horizon line, the houses look like mountains in the mist.
Mark, that has the form of a ballet dancer or ice skater (male :) )
Peg, Really like the subtle (HDR?) process, the light and textures are just right.
Corey, that bolt must be ancient!

This is the obsevation tower of the Penobscot Narrows bridge in Bucksport Maine. At 420 feet, it's the tallest public obsevatory in the world.

Have a lot to catch up on.
Willard nice old house. To bad they didn't tap the trees.
Steve it might be snowing but doesn't look like you had much all winter. :-)
Mark interesting piece of wood. Peg has a vivid imagination. *from another thread)
Pet watch out for snakes in there. Isn't it amazing the way nature seem to take over when left alone.
Corey cool colors in the old bolt
Rob pretty cool shot. Have no idea how it relates to any bicycle wheel that I know of. lol Thanks for the explanation. Love that moon.
Linda aw you have flowers already. We had snow today. :) Lovely colors.
Jim lovely blue snow. Is that refection from a blue moon.:)

Been a little hectic this week. Tues as I was walking round to keep boredom at bay I found this bush with some branches over hanging a gray landscape rock.

Yes, it's open in the summer to the public. I need to photograph it at night when it's all lit up;I here it's quite a sight.
Awesome contrast in that shot Skippy.

The snow here melted the next morning and the temp has been rising ever since. Looking for 70°/21° today!

Hi Skippy....in answer to your question here's what I have found out...C W Berry was a Kirkcaldy poet. The tribute is located in Ravenscraig Park, Kirkcaldy over looking the sea.. sculptor Kenny Munro produced it in a piece of "Argyle Slate" not granite as I had said.
You can read about it on google.....Phil
