Game #11 - Spot the original...

Here's a new one for you... I was tempted to post two images, neither of which was the original colour, but Heidi (my 'good' conscience) convinced me that was too mean... :-)

Here you go, couple of little flowers... which one's the original?

I'd go for the yellow as original. Because one of the grean leafs, the one most left on the picture, changed it's color to a bit orange when changing color.. Right?

There appears to be a yellow tone in the leaves just bellow the flower in both images. The angle of reflection = the angle of incidence, so the yellow comes from the reflection of the true flower's color.

i compared them and i think you forgot to paint some of the pixels on the edges of the petals. Saw this when zooming 350%.

Hi, I will go for the YELLOW, the color is brighter than the orange, and the photo is to bright on the green leafs.

I am going with the yellow, it looks more natural and it is a little blown out. I know you are very clever so I tried to look for my signs but I don't see any. Also, the orange one looks to sharpened and it looks to perfect. I know you can take a perfect shot but for this exercise I don't think you would use a perfect shot.

I'm thinking the yellow flower is the original too. Some of the leaves are just a little washed out with light. Nice work Stuart!

The Yellow one is the original. Have to really blow it up though as Eric says.

I say the yellow one is the original. My logic - your file name for the yellow one is "t_smljungle1b" and the orange is "t_smljungle1c". Therefore it would seem that B came before C. But, Australia is populated by criminals, and as everyone knows criminals are not used to being trusted, therefore you would put the poision as far from yourself as possible and ... oops wrong movie (princess bride).

Anyway, I say yellow.

File names?? We're using the file names to work out which is which... trust no one, Andy... :-)

I'll give this one to Eric, he spotted the reason that Heidi and I both chose as the 'tell tale' - and blowing them up is the way to find out in most cases - unless I get mean, as NiLs suggests, and post you a 'perfect' file...

The red and purple versions make the yellow tips really easy to spot - for some reason, they weren't chosen as close enough to the yellow of the original flower... If I finish the reason I did these, I'll post it too...
