What camera are you using? - most people here *shudder* at the idea of wedding shots :-)

Not sure about your flash options with the S5100.......but from the pictures you have posted.......they are impressive..........it may not perform as well in lower light conditions........but it looks like you can get some quality shots in good light........Cheers Bazza

If you want a more powerful flash, there are some slave flashes available (with a bracket designed to mount on your camera's tripod socket) which will fire when your in-camera flash does. Here's one: http://tinyurl.com/797rv

The red-eye, though, is caused by your in-camera flash being too close to the lens axis. You may be able to deflect it (towards the slave) so that it doesn't light your subjects, just the slave.

Ideally, you'd have the external flash some distance above the lens whether you were shooting horizontally or vertically. Redeye seems to be your only problem, and just in the last photo. Those look pretty good!

Hi mate,

I have the same camera as you and I find that once you dare to move away from the 'full auto' and get proper tuition then the then standard flash is easily enough for for the beginer/moderate user ! once you know what your doing then the camera has infinate adjustable options and has to the be the best for the price !"""""""
