Future generations will only have pictures of Brighton's West Pier. Every time I visit there is less of the pier remaining. Makes me sad we spend so much on preserving a huge number of historical sights but the pier is going to vanish because of commercial greed.

The effect you applied, whatever it was, did a great job of conveying the sense of corrosion. Cool image!

Nice effect. What is the significance of the pier? I love stuff like this. I love the history of it.

How wonderful to see one of David's images pop up in the forums again.
The anniversary of his passing is the 6th Sept......he is missed greatly.

He sure is Ruth! David was a unique person and a wonderful photographer and story teller.
