These are some of my favorite photos from our trip to the beach in North Carolina... any suggestions to improve them would be greatly appreciated!

This one is of my older brother

Horseback riding on the beach -- I don't recommend trying to take photos while you're doing this!

And lastly -- I wish the colors were better but I love the picture -- my cousins at the Nags Head pier

The first shot if you were looking to isolate your brother, you achieved that. But since he was throwing a football with someone, you could have shown him throwing the ball or moved over a little to the left and gotten the second person in the shot only not as prominent.

The second one is actually really good, I like the eye line and not really and dead space and great angle.

The third one is washed out because you were shooting into the sun, try avoiding that so much and your colors will pop. To fix you just need to boost your shadows and tone down your highlights. I don't know what post processing program you have, but like in Photoshop you can use levels.

Thanks!

The second shot is actually my favorite -- the original is very different though ;-) -- see what I mean about not taking a photo on the back of a horse!

And with the first shot -- I wanted to get them both in the picture but they were standing VERY far apart at an angle... my dad didn't even have the same background... as seen here... (untouched)
