wow, very cool shot. We could speculate what's going on here all night long. Hey, wait a minute... you guys haven't taken over the moon have you? Long TE of the stars but what are the long streaks? Thanks for sharing this. Oh, what does the sign translate to?

I really like this photo, I love how the star trails form a circle movement.

LMAO lol
No, we haven't taken over the moon... not yet. ;-)
Checkout the EXIF for technical information... it might tell you the whole story.
Those streaks were caused by the car we moved during the exposure.
And for the sign - Allowed Top speed is 30 kmh (18mph), "Beware! Animals are crossing"
Thanks a lot, all. have a great weekend.

Without seeing your exif data, I'm guessing at least a 10 minute exposure or more, not much more, judging by the length of the star trails and that should be long enough for a moonlit scene to look like day if I recall. You began with the car parked just behind the sign then drove it off early in the exposure. I can see where the vehicle itself blocked it's left side headlight as it passed in front of the camera. It also looks like the road surface was lit by headlights coming from the left side of the frame, That's my best guess anyway.
Great focus on the stars and the foreground. Cool Shot!
