Hi there
been some time and trying out some thing new with some new toys i got for my b-day. I got a hoya r72 Infrared filter and have been playing with it for the last few day and have some shots I would like to post. I have to admit its alot of work having to set up the shot every time before taking the pics with the filter on but I seem to be handling it ok but hope to improve with time. from what I have read that these shots are near IR but I like the color and could take the color out completely to make it a true IR photo.
I took this right out side my work I live in AZ so the plants are very boring and not much to look at so I think that IR works well

I like the colors in this shot if you look close you can see some boards on the tree that were from a old tree fort I plan on working them in to some pictures in the future lighting was not right this time

I can't wait to try out this filter at the lake and maybe some river shots please feel freeto post any comments or suggestions that may help me improve for the future
