Headed just north of San Francisco this morning hoping to get some quality pics of the fog. Unfortunately, between the dense fog and the smoke from the wild fires, the opportunities were quite few and far between. Here are a few of the more interesting shots.

The first one is my favourite.

Would I be right in thinking it might benefit from a little straightening, though?

These are really nice. Great fog pictures. I do believe it could use a little straightening.

I'm not too sure it needs straightening, I thought so to at first. I know it looks like it does when you view the photo but I got my trusty plastic straight edge out and lined up the pillar on the right and yes that one isn't straight but the small building in the center of the photo is straight. I think it's the angle of the cliff and rock that make it look askew.

Nice shots on all 3 BTW!.

I think that the rock and the cliffs create an optical illusion.
I won't say for 100% that it isn't off a little, but the bridge and base are straight along with the small building in the background.
I really enjoy traveling through the north bay area. I have a few destinations scheduled for Sunday, and hopefully the weather and wild fires will co-operate.

I love fog pictures and these are superb. I agree that the first one could use a little straightening. You can tell from the water level that it is off balance. But they are some great captures indeed!
