POPS....... right out :-D
Using only tools found in Lightroom I adjusted your before.
Contrast
White balance
Saturation and lightness of selected colors
Exposure
Made to compare your version after with the one I obtained. Particularly of note is the differences in sky and greenery. There is no correct way to make the changes as it is your vision. Just trying to show the result of different choices.

When you've got the light behind you, as you appear to have in this shot, the subject often lacks shadow detail and hence contrast, so PP skill is needed to give the shot some punch. The hard part is to do it without departing too much from what was there. Your re-working reminds me of a camera with the colour set to Vivid. It works for me with the exception of the sky which is a touch too blue. Mind you, if I hadn't seen your original I might not have thought that :-)

thanks everyone for the feedback
After some reflection and taking in all of the feedback i made some tweaks. I thought the original redo was too saturated especially in the yellow. Tony, you mentioned it looked like the camera was set to vivid. this is what i am trying to avoid in my post processing, i wasn't the colors to look natural.
here is another redo, what do you guys think?
