I like the first one. The colors are rich and balanced. The second one is also nice, but the bright blue sky kind of throws it off for me. Overall they are both nice shots.

That's a pretty scene, Scott. I like your composition, too. I just wish those pilots would quit with the 'con' trails and leave us photographers some natural sunsets. lol

I agree, contrails ruin peaceful scenes like these, but what can you do??

Scott the first one is really nice. The contrails don't bother me much. You must have lots down near the city with three airports near by.

Lovely shots. I like it when the sailboats come in here to rest for the evening. We have a lot of contrails, too. Half way between NYC and Philly will do that.

The beautiful golden light in the first image really does it for me Scott....my fave.
I don't mind con trails, on cloudless evenings here they can be the saving grace of what would otherwise be a pretty flat boring sky lol
