Since it seems to be lets do something different day... or thereabouts...

This was from a trip to the organic farm with my daughter today. She wouldn't let me take her photo because "she wasn't feeling well." So, I took pics of the flowers and veggies instead. I thought this was a neat mix of ripening berries and a flower. I always wondered where the fuzzies came from on Blackberries. Now I know. Editted the photo, added a bit of sharpening and cropped it differently. Removed a couple of berries that weren't really adding to the photo. It also made it more portrait instead of square. Now, off to work.

That's an interesting sight Stef. Usually the flowers are all gone by the time you can see the fruit. I agree it probably does need a little touch of sharpening. It seems that sometimes there are too many steps to sharing a picture to keep it just like you see it originally.

Thanks Skippy. When I saw the perfect flower in bloom I knew I had to get a shot of it. Really need a macro lens. The 28-135 is a pos as far as I"m concerned. I've come to dislike it lately. *shrug* live and learn.

I like this version better than your first one Steffie. It's a lot sharper, and I like the vertical crop more. I will have to check our Blackberries to see if they have any flowers.

Like this one much better. I think it's unaglob that always has the sharpest pics and the smallest file size. They are almost always under 100k. Sometime I am going to ask him if he would tell us step by step how he shrinks them and gets that great quality.

This is very lovely, well composed and exposed. Would love to see it done again when the berries are ripe, but I guess the flowers would be gone them. Nice job.

Thanks everyone, I must have missed commenting back on it :( My apologies.

Linda, I"m planning on getting some shots when they ripen. That should be nice. But you're probably right about the flowers being gone. Maybe there will be a bit of luck and one or two will still be blooming.
