HI there
I have been wanting to try my hand at some HDR photos so I took afew different shots and this is my first one to come out of PS. This is my very first HDR so I hope its up to some of the other HDR photo I have seen here that have inspired me to try this type of photo.
I know the horizion looks off but I tried to edit this and looked even more messed up the trees look crooked the river is not level lol that why water flows down hill.

I had to set my tripod up in the middle of the river to shot this shot but I think it was worth it and that water was cold.

Nice capture Toby, though it leaves me wondering if the 'underexposed' shot has been given enough chance to do it's work. HDR should allow the sky and cloud to be more defined in your shot, there is clearly some blue in there that need to be called upon.
When the photos are merged in HDR on CS2 or CS3 you are given the histrogram and can move the slider. Perhaps if you had moved it to the right you would have exposed the depth more?
I have attached a photo taken from my garden using HDR - I used 5 bracketed shots to capture this. I hope the cloud etc shows what I am talking about.
Keep going Toby - I love mucking around with HDR

I wish my photo could have had a better sky but the moring I went to this location it ws over cast and smokey from some fires around this area. I was hopeing that the clouds would break but it was like this all week long. I tried to give the sky a little more of a blue hue but wanted to keep it from looking to burned out from the white skies. Thanks for the reply I plan on tring some differnt shots soon I will look for better skies to help the photo.
