Summer holidays

Our school summer holidays started last week and it's been hot and sunny every day since, yay! I took this photo yesterday of S enjoying an ice-cream at our nearby lake where we were watching the model sailing boats.

Well done Leonie, this is really nice. Great use of natural light, and very nice DOF. Our school holidays start at the end of June, and end the first week of September.

Summer pictures are great... getting enough light on the eyes is also tough when they are wearing hats. Nicely done... I have a bunch on my site of my boys just like this one.

Brad, your summer holidays are quite a bit longer than ours. Most parents complain that they're too long here, but I love the long break and it's great having the kids around me all the time, I love it. :-D
