Messing around with some of the flowers my wife cut from the garden.
I used a quick burst of flash in the outdoors waning light with a 4 second exposure. What do you think?

Much better detailing in the white petals of the daisys in the natural light. Did you bounce the flash? That may have helped a bit.

To me the use of flash is obvious. Not that I don't like them though. I just think the results would be nicer if you found a nice even BG, use shallower DOF, expose for ambiant light and use flash for fill only.
