I really like the composition of this one Tony. The flowing lines are pleasing, and the combine stands out nicely against the wheat field.

Thanks Brad. I stopped to snap this as I was driving past, and didn't see the combine go down the slope behind. Even though the long lens has compressed the image and made the slope look steeper than it was, it was, nonetheless quite an angle, and must have been a hairy ride for the driver!

Thanks Jeff. I've tried photographing combines a few times, but haven't got an image that satisfied me. The background of this one gave the composition the simpler look I'd been chasing.

The composition is great in this image. I love the texture in the slopes and in the wheat. I think this picture would have been good with the harvester in it and without it.

This is a great photo. I love the lines and the over all composition.
The colors are great.
We have combines and fields of wheat ( I live on a Kibbutz), but I haven't had the chance to photograph them at work.

Thanks Ron, Ruth, Skippy & Ari. A farmer who lives nearby has promised me a ride in his combine (what fun!!), and I hope to get some shots from the cab. Hopefully the weather will calm down so the harvesting can re-commence.
