Golden Dragon

I've been trying to get a good shot of these. They are beautiful. They are quite a bit smaller than most of the dragonflies around my property. And they are quite shy, so this guy was most cooperative to let me get so close.

Superb detail on those hind wings - very nice.

I am using the Nikkor 28-105. I get the best shots if I can get between one to three inches from the bug, so it takes a little bit of stalking and going slowly.
