Then we went over to the CDA resort and sat on the grass in the park. The wind was literally blowing us around, stuff in our eyes...but it was cool!

First one, CDA resort night shot between lightning strikes
Second one, a cool strike behind it but it looks like it's almost hitting it

More neat shots. A very good record of the lighting effect of the lightning - it makes for quite a different image.

Another great series. I've not captured lightning yet, it's on my list to do, just need to do it safely! Were you in a car?

Yeah, you say that now!.... Vonnie (happy camper) and I were discussing this a couple of years ago. When the spectacular clouds rolled in, each of us had headed out the door, in our respective States. And, each of us took a while to remember that lightning was dangerous - and we were idiots! lolllll

Ron, that blue image with the distinct lightning strike is definitely my favorite.

These are such different shots of the same thing. I like them both. One a good night shot and the other a good capture of lighting.

No car :-) In the first, we were standing on the edge by the beach, (the lake ones) and the ones by the resort we just sat in the grass at the edge of the park by that resort hotel. It was COOL :-)
