This is a rough one for me.

I love the colors and saturation of the first one, but I am also a sucker for a good B&W conversion as well.

I guess I like them both. The first one gives me a feeling of whimsical fun while the other gives me an older nostalgiac feeling.

I agree with Andrew....I like both. The only change I would make is to take out the lamppost on the right.

I'm with Andrew too, Jim. Lovely colours in the first one, but the second is also a great B&W conversion. I like the composition, too.

I like the B&W best, great range of tones in it. I agree with taking out the lamppost on the right, it keeps catching the corner of my eye and then pulling me out of the photo.

Thanks for the comments. They are much appreciated.
Funny thing is that I made the decision to keep the lamp post in the frame because I thought it gave some perspective on how far away I was and perhaps a sense of scale to the buildings in front of me. I do see your point about removing it.
Thanks again fpr commenting.

I think the lamp-post should stay, too. It makes symmetry with the tower and chimney and keeps my eye in the photo; also helps with scale in the photo.

Those are nice, man the clouds look so good in the B&W, but the soft sat in the color version looks great too. Both are great, I can't decide!

Florida... you mean Paris? lol I see the Eifel tower!
