Here's a recent shoot I did. Lighting was natural with a light reflector for fill. C&C would be appreciated. Feel free to edit the photos if you'd like.

Welcome to the Photozo, James.

You've done a very good job of postioning that reflector so it lights her well without causing her to squint (not easy to do). The reflector (acting as your main light) gave you directional, rather soft light which much better shows the modeling (3-D-ness) of your subject than flash fill would have.

I try to avoid doing portraits in sunlight. Here you've used the sun light as an effective hair light and kicker (accent light). Very well done.

A beautiful model well posed, too.

I LOVE the background and you did well with the lighting in a very difficult situation, but her missing right arm and the angle of and cropped off left arm is very distracting.

first photo is well executed and sunlight has done wonders with ur fill-in. in second u cud crop at her left shoulder and right hand well placed on her waist or thigh. looking odd with no arms shown. however, well done and congrats.

My favourite is #1. Lightning is great and background makes these stand out.
Some composition problems in #2, as Titus pointed out, though.

Great pictures James, love the lighting, background colour and depth on both. The first picture is my favourite of the two because of her pose. Beautiful model.

Welcome to the Zo! :-D
