raw cat

this is my first attempt at RAW, just worked on the levels a little bit.
let me know what you think (this picture was mostly accidental, she was scratching an itch) :-)

Mel, it is a great shot with nice DOF control. But I personally feel the green at the left catching my eye there. Also, if the eye would fall at the lower left ROT point, then there will some space at the top where the cat's eye is pointing.

Anyway wonderful catch, also a nice photograph.

I kind of have to disagree with anindyanuri. I think this is very well composed and the fact the cat is super sharp contrasted with the green in the corner, it really doesn't draw my eye there. I didn't see it until anindyanuri said something.

Otherwise, RAW is wonderful when you get a shot that just didn't work... you can adjust and really MAKE it work.
