I hate to be an idiot, but sometimes circumstances require it. I'm so sorry...
But how does this thing work? I took a picture and posted it somewhere, but there wasn't any EXIF data with it, and I don't even have a clue where it is.

This can't be right, can it? What the heck is going on here?
    I just don't get it?

Admittedly, I'm new. I'm a newbie. But can't you make this a bit easier and more transparent? OR... OR... maybe that is the point???

    I'm just sayin... : - /

This monthly challenge thing is a bit too opaque for my taste.

John, your picture is upload to the right place. I find the easiest way to enter a photo is to:
    1. Click on the link to the Gallery page at the top of any page.
    2. Scroll down the Gallery section home page til you find the POTW Entry or the Monthly Challenge Entry headings.
    3. Click on it.
    4. Near the top right, you will see an upload button. Click on it.
    5. This will take you to the upload page. Select the photo you want upload from your computer, put the correct challenge title. Then in the box, put your title, the day the photo was taken and your name.
    6. Click submit entry. That should to it. It really isn't too hard once you get the hang of it.

As for the EXIF data, it must be attached to the photo. When you save your pics, don't use Save For Web. That strips the EXIF. Just use Save As. If the EXIF still doesn't show up, send me either the original file, or a jpeg that hasn't been saved for the web. send it to yellalablady@yahoo.com. I will verify the EXIF. Since photo must be taken during the challenge open period, the EXIF must be verified in one of these two ways. Feel free to ask anymore questions and I'll try to answer them.
