    Default Warriors from another age

Replicas of the Terracotta Army unexpectedly guarding part of the garden at Buscot House not far from us.

    Eyes front!

    About Turn!

    The Archer

These are quite impressive even as replicas so I can't imagine what a wow-factor the real things must have.

I always find the topknots on these kind of statues interesting. History tells us that the warriors would put spoils of war in them (small trinkets, jewelry, etc.) All of them are different too. The POV in #2 is outstanding. What an eye you have, Karin. ~~Peg

Very interesting set. These work really well in the vertical.

Good find! I think I saw an original in a museum once but it has been so long ago that it, too, may have been a copy.

Thank you. It may have been an original because the Chinese do loan them out for special exhibitions.
