We were in Florida two weeks ago on vacation (took the grandkids to Disney again), and I only took the camera to the park with me one day. Took very few shots (maybe only 10 total) this trip, and here are 3 of them.

Located near the exit of the Tower of Terror ride at Disney:

This shaded alcove is behind the espresso stand (shot #1), and I spent a bit of time with the two grandsons while my wife and daughter rode the Tower of Terror ride, which is located near this shot. Spotted the couple taking a break in the shade and couldn't resist the shot.

Nice set Greg. I find all three of these very interesting. The conversion on the B&W's is very good. I had to take a second to focus on the first one, at first glance I thought I was looking at an old radio and not a coffee stand. The POV and lighting on the third one looks excellent to me.

Appreciate the comments everyone . These were taken close-to/right around 4pm on a very bright day. All were processed in LR3, then the two were converted in Silver Efex Pro 2.

    John,
These were probably the only "keepers" out of the bunch, but will look again to see if there are any others to mess with.

I'm so glad I asked! These are eye-candy -- the colors, the lines, the textures, the forms and the light!

But the last one, especially; the shadows on the wall, the exposed brick, the leading lines of the bricks on the floor, and the blue area and luminance beyond make me want to walk through my computer display and into that area to discover what is there.

(I know I can't actually do that: It was a metaphor.

Thanks, John. Wish I had a shaded area like the one in the photo at my my house

One thing about Disney is that he surely knows how to set up photo opportunities.
It makes everyone happy because the visitors get to show everyone back home what a good time they had and Disney gets everyone to hand out "fliers" for the business.

If they happen to be proficient with their cameras, as you are, one can get some printable shots with minimal effort.
Very enjoyable photos which bring back some fond memories.

Great series Greg. Love the 3rd one of the first set. The young people make the shot for me. ~~Peg

Thanks, Jim and Peg. Disney does make it easy for one to snap-away at all kinds of colorful stuff.
