So, they sent me Buddy, instead.
Sue yes I know Photo Shop, but what in Photo shop. I can't see anyone actually painting all those flames by hand.

it took me a while to find it, but here is the link I used for this cool effect,,
http://video.about.com/graphicssoft/...-PHOTOSHOP.htm
By Googling or looking on the NAPP site, you can find all kinds of rarely used Photoshop "tricks" such as fire, ice, wind, chrome, etc. When you have a good grasp of real Photoshop techniques, they're a lot easier to understand and use. You're more able to customize them to your own needs... that is those times when you need flames, ice, wind, etc.![]()
When you attend an NAPP Photoshop seminar, Dave Cross might give a demo of how to make a photo look as if it's an underwater scene. He's not trying to enable you to make your photos look as if they've been taken underwater, but giving an extreme example of a couple of valuable techniques he has just covered.
yea there's tons of tutorials out there,, some are just for fun, others are more for the "professionals"
guess that excludes me,,![]()
Following those tutorials step by step is a good way to pick up (and practice) techniques such as masking, blending modes, etc., which can be applied in other areas of Photoshop.
