Read my signature: It's not what camera you use that counts, but where you point it.

Thanks for the fun surfing, Bruce.

The trick to good photography is to learn where to point your camera and when to push the shutter. The EYE is more important than all the technical stuff.

Great link Bruce! Shows it's the eye more than the gear - and Landis' sig makes that point absolutely clear

After spending the weekend with a 50D, I still feel my aging XT is more than enough camera for me (but that 50D is soooooo nice....)

I've been impressed with the results of the 3MP camera in my LG Dare (Vx9700), have taken some quick shots with it that would rival my old S100 point-n-shoot. And, it's nice to know I always have a capable little camera with me at all times. May be time to use it more....

I never blame the gear - I know when I suck and when I take a great image.

Thanks for sharing this link Bruce, funnily enough I am thinking of getting an iPhone and was worried about the camera as my Sony Ericsson is really good!

Coincidently one of my friends has my old Sony phone and he has taken some awesome photos with it.

Nicely captured images, but there is one thing I will point out - many of these photos have had some significant post processing. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, quite the opposite in fact, the editing after the capture is very much part of the photographers tool box and essential to completing a photo. Without the edits some of these pictures would look flat and less interesting.

    Thanks for the link Bruce!
