I haven't posted up any hockey shots of late.
The following are a couple from the latest games I have shot, as part of the Wilsons Cup (preseason tournament)
C & C welcomed.

I prefer #2 Mark, nice action, a bit on the rough side.and #3 is great for the AW factor. Don't the kids just love being dressed alike.

It matters not, if you win or lose, it's how you play the game.
Canon 400D XTi - 100mm f 2/8 Macro lens - 50mm f/1.8 lens - 28-90 mm Zoom lens. 18-55mm, Canon S2 IS , Kenko Rings.
Love the second one. Hockey is my favorite sport of all time and the second shot captures it perfectly. Great series also, the kid is cute.

Thanx for the comments guys.
The 'bump' against the boards is pretty tame really - the closer to the boards you are when you take a shot - the less momentum you get before you finally hit something hard. Hockey has a reputation for being a rough sport, but there is a great deal more to it then that. The 'roughness' is actually quite a small part of the game, as anyone who has tried staying upright on a set of skates will atest.
From the third shot, Jaidyn really can't get enough of his skating atm. He's pretty much been taken on board by the guys as team mascot (dragged him along to his first game at the age of 6months - slept through the whole thing. hehehe) Tis fun watching him skating around with the guys after a game (win, lose, draw - he is always wanting to get out there with the guys & put smiles on peoples faces)
