    Absolutely, worth it!

Thanks, Jim. It was an amazing site - both places. One was a local park, and the other a commercial garden. This time of year, the city is full of Tulips (in the millions, without exaggeration.) Quite a sight.

Glad you got away for some much deserved R&R, Kat. I love what you've done with this shot. The PP is perfect. I wish the tulips didn't end center picture. I'd try to crop a little off the top so you get the feel that the flowers go on forever. Great job, no matter what.

kathy~ This is beautiful!!!! I love the brillant colors! Your post process (watercolor?) is perfect for this subject. I'm jealous that you got to go there, but I'm glad we get to see your beautiful photos.

The cropping issue has been floating in my head, Monnie - I just don't know if it should be a long, skinny pano or if it's worth trimming from the edges too, to keep the ratio aspect.

Amber, the one you're looking at here had the Buzz filter applied. That's the one that disappeared for a while, but someone figured out how to reproduce it for us addicts!

Topaz Labs has produced a whole series of Filters that have me enthralled. Just this morning, I installed the update for 'Vivacity', called 'Clean 2', and fell in love all over again. In the second version of this image, I applied 'Curly Smooth', and then on the next run, applied 'Stylized Detail.' I actually like this one better.

I agree Kathy, your second one is leaps and bounds better! I love how it brings the details to the tulips. Beautiful. I'll check out those sites when I get home. I'm becoming a filter junky. I'm trying to teach myself that my personal stuff doesn't have to fall under the strict rules of the Air Force.

The second one is great, Kathy. I really like this crop better. In the first one, I'd crop from the top and either side to keep the aspect ratio. Since it's rows of the same thing, I don't think you lose anything by cropping away either side a little.

That's funny, Monnie. I didn't even remember cropping this, until after comparing the two! Guess it's Nap-Time again! lllllllllllllll
