Well I haven't posted on here in a while, actually I have been out of photography for a bit, but getting back into it..

Two of my favorite loves (besides my wife and kid) are Photography and BBQ...

Got a BBQ Contest coming up and was practicing a little chicken and decided to try out my new 50D

I appreciate that large light source reflected off the sauce! I do some food photography at work and the sauce just "dies" unless it's reflecting some light, so I place a softbox above and beyond the plate. That light is reflected directly into the camera off anything shiny.

Thanks Bruce...I was lucky because I had a huge softbox right above me (an Ez-UP -- 10x10 canopy with a white top) and I had the table sitting near one side...So I got the soft light from above, plus the reflection from the side.

I don't attempt much food photography, but it is something that interests me.
