    Default Photoshop Classes Online

Quite a while ago Kat recommended a newsletter from about and Sue Chastain. Thanks Kat there are some interesting hints and help in there.

When it came this week, it mentioned a beginners Photoshop class. As I looked thru the outline, I thought some of the newer photoshop users would find it helpful. It's meant to be 8-10 weeks long and you can work at your own pace. You can sign up here.

A nice thing I see about the lessons mentioned is that they also apply to versions other than the currently released version of Photoshop (CS4). For $25 for any given month, you can have access to as many Lynda.com tutorials as you want / have time for. I can highly recommend these. They also have tutorials for specific versions of various software. My wife, for instance, is using InDesign 2 on my old Mac, and was able to watch a tutorial specifically about that version.

I try to make my free Photoshop tutorials not specific to any one version of Photoshop.

Another option which I have been using is Lynda.com. they have a course called Photoshop for Photographers. They have tons of software training titles. $25/month $250/yr. You can learn using the online or you can actually get titles on disk and have it mailed to you. I've learned a lot using it. Just another option for people.

Me too. I like the structure of going thru it one step at a time. There all kinds of tuts out there, but they don't don't always go in order.

lynda.com is probably good, but for beginners this one is FREE and makes a good starting place, until you know what you want to learn.
