Good work Fee, your macro weekend has given some Fun, Abstract and Nature!

Love the colours in #2 and #3 - I also love the composition here. Can you let us know how you did #2?

thanks nick! well was scrabbling around in my cupboards wondering what i could use and decided on olive oil as it is quite yellow and water with food dye in it. i found that the oil just floated in one clump so then added washing up liquid to break it up a bit, what a bloody mess i got into!! unfortunately, i didn't get those oil/water shots very sharp...

Lovely Macro shots Fee. The last one has got my attention the most. With the individual tips of "anthers" pin sharp against the out of focus "stigmas", does it for me. Well done Fee.

Very nice Fee. Isn't macro photography fun? I've been playing with my macro too. #1 is my fav. It has a whimsical feel to it and that's fun. ~~Peg

Looks like you made the best of a bad day! I love the unusual context of the lego/coffee shot and the ladybird is fantastic. The DOF is perfect, sharp in just the right places - and the ladybird itself seems to have a sort of antiqued quality!

I like all three. Never would of thought about using olive oil on any shot. Very creative.

#1 reminds me of a series I saw on some blog called "what stormtroopers do on their day off." It's hysterical, you might really enjoy it and get clever ideas for a continuation on this theme.
