    Default Silent Vigil

I'm still trying to pin down 2 snaps for our PW2010 thread, let alone my 'best' pic. In the mean time, I'll put out a couple odds and ends in the appropriate content threads.

A great subject from a cemetery dating from the late 1800's. I might call this a 'good' snap, but not good enough. Practice, practice, practice is helping me compose better shots in frame. This one points out the need to watch the back lighting I think.

I'm not sure there is enough contrast from the background to make the focus subject pop.

Lots of potential there. Just depends how much time you want to spend on it. Good subject.

I'll agree Skip. I've already gone in with the dodge/burn tools on this one to get it to where it is already. I'd probably be better off just sliding over and re-shooting it again. With a little more forethought this time of course.

I have to agree with skip, great potential to me it is calling out for black and white conversion. The surface texture might look great. Don’t worry back lighting gets me all the time.
