    Willard, I wish I had some of those vines. I love to make bittersweet wreaths. They always look so pretty. Nice composition and color. ~~Peg

    Thank you all for looking.

    Bittersweet is ubiquitous in the county here and, as it is pretty invasive and kills other trees, my wife and I pick the stuff for wreaths and flower arrangements. I also administer the coup de grace (you don't want to know) when they grow near timber trees.

    They look good enough to eat, but they're poisonous.

    They're nice to photograph because they keep this vivid color through the winer and really pop in the snow.
