I'll be gone this week. Everyone behave yourselves. Michael might whump you with a pink unbrella if you misbehave.

A pair of twin fawns visited the yard this morning. Can you see what they were after? ~~Peg

Today, we shared some good times with Micheal (Mishlove).
Had a good chat over a beer, and watched the world go by, then wandered around Argenton-sur-Creuse, seeing the sights.
    Very enjoyable - thanks Micheal!

Here he is - as colourful as ever (right down to the crocs!)

Wow, it's only Monday. We have a bunch of overachievers this week.

Great shot Peg. I like the framing with the apple trees.
Rob - Wait, Michael is in France and drinking beer? It must be hot over there! For some reason, I was not surprised by the shoes one bit.
John- I really like how you used DOF to obscure the couple. Counter intuitive to what I would have done but this is so much better than what I would have put together.

    Thanks everyone for the comments.
Rob, you captured Michael in his wonderful bi-colored crocs. I've seen another pair he owns that has one orange croc. I love the setting.
John , a lovely way to show off your son and his fiance. Very nice.

Wow everyone is so early this week.

Peg love your fawns. It's cool that they come to the yard, until they start nibbling on something you prize. I can't find what they were after. Point it out.............please.

Rob what a neat place to take a visitor. Those crocs earn their own frequent flyer miles. Seems the fare in France is agreeing with Michael.

John lovely. It is one for the album be the wedding or just the memory book. It just makes me smile.

    Jim you are so cynical.

Peg - A great catch....well seen and shot.
Rob - What can I say... definitely one of your better shots...., thanks for the meet up and walk about.
John - Great use of dof for affect.

Pat - The big bold reds have been flowing....and I have some serious competition here at meals, but have also had a few good whites from Alsace (mainly Gewurztraminer) with hors d'œuvre......

Skippy - the fare has been beyond fair...it has been amazing......double time at the gym next week.

At the suggestion of Rob (NoCard) I took off this morning to the Tuesday market at Saint-Août, the drive itself, winding my way thru a multitude of small villages, beautiful country side.....the market was incredible.......the stall below had a multitude of birds...and some rabbits......nearly ready for the table.....awesome (Thanks Rob)

Glad you made it to St. Aout market Micheal.
It is quite an experience to see/smell a real rural farmers market. I think you have captured the feeling well here.
And you incorporated some great colours!!!

Michael, what a great find. As I ponder the idea of fresh and realize that very few here in America would know how to get it to the table. I for one never really enjoyed the plucking part.

I saw someone else take a picture of this so I did too! If you see it on one of the social media sites it is the other persons shot.

Actually that is the color they were. Perhaps they turn blue later or perhaps a child releaved itself on the plant.

Was walking across the parking lot this morning, just had to have a picture. Made me smile, thinking of all the jokes about ladies and shopping.

I love the color and clarity of the deer, Peg.

One shoe off, one shoe on, Rob........(a children's poem).

Tell your son, John , that wedding ideas=bride's orders.

Did you buy anything at the market, Michael? A chicken, perhaps........

Where are these nice pads, Jim, At a museum or botanical display? Nice color

    Bet that's a woman's car, Skippy.

I have an arrangement lately with toitle's central casting. I think the Queen Anne's lace is dinner or this may be a female with a suitor.
I missed last week because the family and I were in the Champlain Islands whooping it up.

Some really cool images this week.

Peg, such pretty little visitors you had.

Rob, Michael looks like he already enjoyed a beer or two. Looks like a nice place to sit a spell and quaff a few.

John, your son is just another guy to give up his freedom......for love.

Michael, I like open air markets too. You never know what you'll find.

Jim, are you sure your white balance was set correctly?

Skippy, fess up now. That's your car right?

Willard, that's a neat shot. It almost looks like it's in a tree with the reflections.

Skippy, above the fawns head is an apple if you look closely. Love the car shot. Too funny.
