Default One last try at cargo in the rain....

I looked through what I did get, well, the ones not totally ruined by rain drops on the lens anyway
And thought I'd put this up for ridicule.....
Only joking, I really appreciate you guys giving me help!

Not sure what to add, Eddie, as I like the shot. I might have tried to add a bit of brightness along the shoreline where the sunlight touches it.

Considering the conditions, I like the mood the shot reveals. I'd have left a bit more room behind the ship.

The thing about taking a photograph is do YOU like it ???

Does it capture what you want it to say and does it meet what your minds eye saw..

If so, it's a good photograph..

I think that it may be more pleasing to the eye in a standard 3:2 crop, eliminting some of the water and keeping all of the sky, rather than the 4:3 crop..
    Chill, it's just a Photograph........

    Thanks guys....
The rain without umbrella really hampered me as far as what I could do. In this pix, it had already passed, I was losing the bow protruding, but most of my full side shots were pointing westward, directly into the rain/wind, ARG....
I think I will try a crop Larry, good idea, but hell, I don't like anything I take and that's why I pester you guys for validation.....what inferiority complex

Nice capture! If anything a simple cropping of some of the water as Larry suggested might add to it by drawing the eye to the subject and the interesting backround-the outline of mountains in the backround, the breaking sky. Bob

There's a lot to see in this one, and layers of subtle color in the land behind. I especially like that warm light coming from the upper left, and illuminating a valley behind the immediate shoreline.

Moody and dark, but a very good result. The light, subtle as it is, sings.

Well, you guys sure offer wonderful help!

Here is the crop, not sure if I like it, as I feel the expanse of water in the foreground lends a certain perspective to the over all composition.....I dunno?????

Well I think I agree. Kind of like the original better. Cant put my finger on it though. More contrast dark to light? Either way its a very mice shot. Bob
