    Default Xmas in Germany

I spent a few days in Germany on business just before xmas, a gorgeous typically german old-town, had a great time.
Here are a few night shots of the traditional town "Bad-Neuenahr Ahrweiler"

Enjoying the decorations on the old style buildings. What is the rectangles that make the leading lines in the last one.

Thanks Skippy, the rectangles form a water feature, it has an old water pump at one end, and a return drain at the other, but all switched off and partially drained for Winter.

Traveling and working in the Old World must be so enjoyable, Rob. The scenery that most Europeans photograph always tugs at my heartstrings. I love cobblestones, villages and quaint shops. Thanks for sharing your wonderful shots with us. These are nice. A trip to Europe is on my bucket list. ~~Peg
