These are the two photo of Samantha that I've worked on. Which one do you like the best. Ignore the color. Which composition do you like the best?

I notice two people voted for B. Can I ask why you prefer that one?

For me it was the clarity, angle and the shadows look better in the image as a whole.

I also selected B. I like the "chocolate" tones when applied to B&W. I also like the details in the sand around the baby. The back of the clothing looks slightly blown out on image A.

I like the over all shadows and tone of the second one, but if it were me, I'd clone the wave that ends above her head so it went all the way to the end of the frame. It draws my eye right to it. If it were a line across the photo, it wouldn't draw the eye. Just my opinion.

I like "A" better. In "B" the wave is distracting and the babies pose looks awkward to me, more like it just felled down on her face rather than sleeping. "A" just seems to be more natural for sleeping.

I like 2 better because the contrast is better.

Like Linda, I would fix that one wave.
