Nice photograph of a cable stayed bridge. I love the geometry of cable-stayed bridges.

Nice abstract qualities and color. It it makes me think of some kind of musical instrument.

hmmm.... more than OK. It's a different image, and I think that in B&W it offers even more possibilities for reverie than the color version. This one makes me think of some very ancient sailing vessels.

Like them both very much Paul. I think I lean slightly towards the B&W version.

Both are very nice. Why is it that everytime I hear the name Penobscot I'll think of Lt. Margaret Houlihan?

Thanks for the comments, I took this on the way to up Acadia National Park.
The weekend was a washout for the most part, that blew my plan for a Cadillac Mountain sunrise shot.

I thought Hawkeye (Alan Alda) was from Maine, I don't remember the Penobscot reference.

Something about the b&w version knocks my socks off. Well done with the conversion.

Both versions are superb. Can't decide which I like better. Probably lean toward the color because of the lighting. ~~Peg

    Monnie,

I thought the same thing as you, and curiosity got the best of me, so looked it up.

    From Wikipedia:
Lieutenant Colonel Donald Penobscot...Donald is introduced in name only at the start of the fifth season... he is a Lieutenant Colonel whom Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan (Loretta Swit) meets while she is on leave in Tokyo...
