    Default Geez....c'mon gang!

What is up with everyone, huh? Photography is an ACTIVE activity, which if you don't understand means you pick up your camera and ENGAGE with it, you know.....like TAKING PICTURES!

    Geez......

They don't have to be perfect to share here, just share them, and who knows, in the process of getting "out" of oneself (justified rationale thinking) you might find praise and suggestions that you can use to enjoy your camera more. You won't know if you don't try.....will you?

My time is very limited, yet, I try and share here for I enjoy it, and even more I enjoy looking in and seeing what others have to share...

I guess I'm putting a challenge out to all, but especially to the old folk who seem "stuck in a rut" and hardly post anymore......PUT UP, and lets become a viable community again, OK?

I start with a simple step....post a flower shot, just a summer flower, and let see if he beauty of nature can put some spark back into our photography soul.....eh?

    Mine.....a very simple wild daisy.

    next please

I'm going to get back out there as soon as I get the doctor's okay. Just had wrist surgery for DeQuarvains disease. Doctor's appt. on the 16th, so it's still going to be a while before I can pick up my camera .

Nice to know there is at least one other person here as insane as I am, eddie haskell.

Some of the other pictures bug me, so here is one from Morton Aboretum I didn't post before, just for you, Wally, and The Beaver.

Wine, women, and song, eddie, to which we can add photography in this instance.

    So it would be...

"Whining women, and florid photos, and other alliteration"...

But to the point, to the original point of your thread, Brother, I'm headed out early AM tomorrow. I ain't dead yet; and I will be taking pictures and posting them here until I am not anymore.

If I get a good flower picture, rest assured, I'll post it here in your thread, Brother.

Couldn't stand it anymore, not being able to pick up my camera just because of a little wrist operation.

Don't see the doctor till Monday, but decided yesterday to go to the zoo and see how my wrist would hold up with the camera.

I did fine, still taking it easy though.

Here is a flower I saw that I thought was really pretty at the zoo. Everyone else passed it by.

Nice shot! Hope the wrist is ok. Have you considered a high end compact? All the pics I posted above were taken with my XZ-1. Love that camera and its easy on the wrists! bob

Nice shots everyone. Rob, really liking the pov in your shot. Eddie, no flowers here. the oppresive heat/drought killed 'em all (at least in our yard).
