    Default Sunday @ the beach

Just that, a simple day @ the beach......lost in tranquility, nothingness, a pure meditative state, for awhile, nothing.......staring out.....and the day grew, into louder and louder sounds....and then I had to go, they had come and were coming in the hordes, and I must leave.......but it was good...to be again.

(But I had to snap a few.....could not not).

    (1) 1st ferry across....leaving the city.

    (2) My spot, all mine

    (3) from up the beach.

    (4) over there...a pier, far away.

    (5) a buoy in the water.

I also like that shot of the white post/buoy and especially the reflections and the negative space. It's very simple and for that reason, very effective.

Having spent some time in Toronto a very long time ago, was that skyline shot from Ontario Place? Which was, as I recall it, like an island where they had some sort of exposition at one time? Anyway, I like that shot and how it brings back my memories of that truly great city.

CJ..... Thank you....Ontario Place is to the left, of my pov.....I spent many a joyful summer there with my kids....very fond memories...but life goes on and Ontario Place is now closed, but not yet gone....some facilities are still active...like the Molson Amphitheater. The Great Debate is now in progress...what to do with that area...which is very prime...I am sure many developers in Toronto are salivating with the prospect of, and a casino has been thrown about....but the jury is out.....we may know by October. Personally I hope it's used more for something more well rounded for a broad spectrum of the public to enjoy ........sadly we are consumed with "progress", "development" and ROI, at any and all cost....and forget the simple pleasures of life.

The buoy shot is simple and very effective Michael.

Number 2 looks like a tiny slice of tranquility...

What I wouldn't give to take that last one with a ND filter, very slow shutter speed and convert to B+W. (Hint, Hint, Hint) Nice series. ~~Peg
