I really like this shot. That looks like an oil rig. Where was this taken?

Yes, that is an oil platform off the coast..

I was walking along some coastal railroad tracks, looking for something scenic about a half hour north of Santa Barbara, California.

Those look like brown pelicans heading along the coast, looking for another wave to soar.

The Pelicans were flying low, but I am also on a cliff above the shoreline. A combination of the two brought them across, almost at eye level.. They were still a fair distance away too..
